Examination Room

There are 2 rooms that are used by vets to consult. Each is equipped with an examination table.

Treatment Room

The treatment room was renovated a few years ago to keep up with the growing need for space and treatment area.

Surgery Suite

We have one operating rooms with all the anesthesia monitoring equipments and its adjoining facilities, such as the recovery room and scrub room.

Dr. Sundar Natarajan, DVM. Ph.D.

My name is Dr.Sundar Natarajan, DVM. Ph.D. I felt that in order for me to get to know you and your pet, I believe that you should know a little about my qualifications and me first.

Qualifications

I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.

After a brief period in mixed animal practice, I earned my master’s degree in Veterinary medicine during 1991 and Ph.D., in Veterinary medicine during 1999. I was performing duties like teaching, research, and as a clinician in the capacity of Assistant Professor in Madras Veterinary College, India for a period of 13 years. I also successfully ran my own small animal practice in Chennai, India for 5 years.

Research

In 2005, I was invited to do research at USDA, Beltsville, MD.

Later, I joined National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD to continue the research for a period of 6 years. During these days, I contributed in more than 45 research publications.
